Yayasan Hasanah is pleased to announce our Trustee and Managing Director, Shahira Ahmed Bazari, has been conferred the “Darjah Setia Pangkuan Negeri (D.S.P.N)” by the Penang Governor, Tuan Yang Terutama (TYT) Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang, Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi Haji Abdul Razak in conjunction with TYT’s 72nd birthday celebration on 10 July 2021. The award carries the title Dato’.
Dato’ Shahira was instrumental in the setting up of Hasanah between 2013 – 2015 and has been the Trustee and Managing Director of Hasanah since 2015. She also serves as a Trustee on the Boards of several social-based organisations in Malaysia. Since helming the foundation, Dato’ Shahira together with Hasanah’s civil society partners and her dedicated Hasanah team have impacted more than 1 million Malaysians since its inception in 2015.
