Yayasan Hasanah Appoints Siti Kamariah Ahmad Subki as new Managing Director

Kuala Lumpur, 25 April 2024 – Yayasan Hasanah, the philanthropic arm of Khazanah Nasional today, announced the appointment of Siti Kamariah Ahmad Subki as its new Managing Director, following Dato’ Shahira Ahmed Bazari’s end of tenure.

Siti Kamariah will begin her duty effective 1 May 2024.

Siti Kamariah is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of professional experience in Malaysia, Australia and the US. She has held leadership positions, including as Chief Executive Officer of Wanita Berdaya Selangor and is a serving board member at INCEIF University. She has also served at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Khazanah Nasional, Yayasan Hasanah and the United Nations. Her strong background in both the commercial and social development sectors have been key in driving entrepreneurship, social and sustainable development.

Tan Sri Md Nor Yusof, Chairman of Yayasan Hasanah’s Board of Trustees said, “We welcome Siti Kamariah as the new Managing Director of Yayasan Hasanah and look forward to her leadership in taking the foundation to greater heights while it continues to deliver positive societal impact that complements Khazanah’s efforts toward advancing Malaysia.”

Siti Kamariah graduated from the University of Sydney, Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance. She also holds a Master of Commerce from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Siti Kamariah was elected to the Malaysia Regional Council of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
