Now Open Year-Round!
At Yayasan Hasanah, we believe meaningful, long-lasting impact is built through strong partnerships across communities, organisations and sectors.
For 2026, we are evolving our approach. Hence, The Hasanah Grant is now open throughout the year, enabling organisations to apply when they are ready, supporting more timely, responsive and impactful initiatives.
Year-Round Applications
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, allowing organisations to submit proposals at anytime throughout the year.
Batch-Based Evaluation
While submissions remain open throughout the year, applications will be assessed in scheduled batches to ensure a fair, consistent, and rigorous evaluation process.

We prioritise organisations that demonstrate full registration with the relevant authorities, audited financial accountability, and active efforts to drive positive change in their communities. Projects with measurable results, scalable ideas, long-term planning, and policymaking potential are highly valued.
Our grants do not cover individual sponsorships, projects outside our nation-building focus areas, political campaigns, commercial purchases or renovations, charitable donations for profit-making activities, ongoing projects already funded by Yayasan Hasanah, or faith-based activities.
Depending on the duration and nature of each project, the grant amount we offer may vary. A maximum of RM2,500,000 can be awarded for projects spanning over three years, while pilot projects and shorter projects may be eligible for a smaller amount and subject to Hasanah grant governance process.
We focus on achieving long-term impact. To this effect, we provide two types of funding:
Disclaimer: Approval of funding is subject to Hasanah’s evaluation process, and meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee grant approval.
In addition to the grants awarded, we seek to support our partners in capacity building. Through mentorships, trainings, networking opportunities, best practice advice, and more, we provide them with the knowledge and skills to better strategise and lead, opening doors to greater impact in the long run.
Disclaimer: The support provided is subject to availability and Hasanah’s discretion. Participation in capacity-building activities does not guarantee grant approval or additional funding.
