Hasanah Social Enterprise Fund 2026 (HSEF 2026) seeks to provide financial support for early-stage businesses in Malaysia that aspire to scale their innovative solutions to meet financial as well as social and/or environmental objectives. HSEF 2026 features a rolling application model, with applications accepted year-round until 30 October 2026.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
HSEF 2026 is open to early-stage social enterprises in Malaysia that meet the following criteria:
- At least 6 months in operations
- Clear and measurable social and/or environmental goals
- More than 30% of annual revenue is commercially earned, as opposed to contributions, donations, or grant funding
Eligible applicants may receive a grant of up to RM 100,000.
Preference will be given to enterprises that possess the SE Accreditation by the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development.
HSEF2026 Application Timeline
HSEF 2026 operates on a rolling application model. Applications are open year-round and will be accepted on a rolling basis, with a hard deadline of 30 October 2026. This approach allows for more flexible engagement and better pipeline management through our Ecosystem Partners.
Process Flow for the HSEF2026
Submit your application through your respective Ecosystem Partner. Applications will be accepted only via Ecosystem Partners
Shortlisted applicants progressed by the Ecosystem Partner will be contacted by Yayasan Hasanah to submit due diligence documents. All due diligence is conducted solely by Yayasan Hasanah.
Successful applicants will receive an Award Letter from Yayasan Hasanah and be invited to sign a Grant Agreement and commit to funding terms and impact milestones.
